From October 13th to 16th, Nichia will exhibit at CEATEC 2026, one of Japan's largest comprehensive technology exhibitions, to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Nichia participates in the Battery Association for Supply Chain (BASC) and will exhibit within the BASC booth at the event. 2026 marks Nichia’s third consecutive year exhibiting at CEATEC.

CEATEC is held with the goal of realizing Society 5.0, which seeks to balance economic growth with solutions to social challenges. The exhibition brings together people, technologies, and information from a wide range of industries and sectors, fostering co-creation to shape the future. The event has attracted significant attention as a platform where companies and organizations collaborate to create new value through digital innovation.

At the BASC booth, information on the role and importance of the battery supply chain in supporting a sustainable society will be introduced through videos and exhibits.

Nichia will present cathode materials developed through its strong commitment to high-quality, high-reliability manufacturing, along with the technological strengths supporting their development and production. Through panel displays, Nichia will also introduce its initiatives in the cathode materials business.
